Citizens of democratic countries live 11 years longer

Fairchild Television featured work by Andrew Patterson, who completed his PhD in UBC’s department of sociology.

Patterson is lead author of a study that found people living in democratic countries live 11 years longer, on average, than those in non-democratic countries.
