Author Steven Galloway no longer a UBC professor

Canadian author Steven Galloway is no longer a UBC employee following an investigation into multiple allegations of misconduct, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun and other media outlets reported Wednesday.

Galloway was suspended with pay last November, after which more allegations surfaced, according to a statement from UBC. The school hired former B.C. Supreme Court justice Mary Ellen Boyd to investigate the allegations. The Dean of Arts reviewed the report with Steven Galloway, who did not dispute any of the critical findings.

In a statement late on Wednesday, the UBC faculty association said all but one of the allegations against Mr. Galloway were not substantiated.
