Business in Vancouver reported on a biochemical startup that began a UBC pilot project in 2012.
The company, called S2G BioChemicals, created a process that uses wood and agricultural waste rather than petrochemicals to make glycols. Glycols are used to make polyester, plastics, antifreeze and other materials.
