Tweets proving no man should be ashamed of depression

Huffington Post reported on a study by Dr. John S. Ogrodniczuk, a UBC professor of psychotherapy, for an article on the issues of depression in men.

“The catchphrase, ‘Big boys don’t cry’ prevails,” Ogrodniczuk wrote in a 2011 study.

The study focused on the fact that a lower incidence of depression in men may be related to a hesitancy to report illness and ask for help in order to retain their masculinity.
