Science Magazine interviewed Jehannine Austin, UBC professor of medical genetics and psychiatry, for a story on the growing field of genetic counselling.
Austin said her academic success is party thanks to the additional training she gained by completing her genetic counselling master’s degree. During her studies she was able to work on clinical questions that had received minimal attention.
