Despite crackdowns, marijuana entrepreneurs bet on “edibles”

UBC psychology professor and cannabis researcher Zach Walsh was quoted in a Globe and Mail story on the predicted success of marijuana edibles.

He said the key issues are standardization and properly labelling the psychoactive ingredients on the packaging of edibles.

“Just like a beer, you need to know that it’s not 40-per-cent alcohol, because that will affect the speed of how you use it,” Walsh said.
