Proposed Commercial Drive tower criticized by residents

Global News quoted UBC Sauder School of Business professor Thomas Davidoff for a story on criticism of a proposed mid-rise building at Commercial Drive and Napier Street.

“Five storeys is not nearly enough on a busy intersection anywhere on Commercial. For the neighbours to complain is understandable. They want someone else to bear the cost of density. But if nobody does, affordability will get worse. These neighbours, I would say, are making the world a worse place,” said Davidoff.
