The science of how to successfully approach a woman in a bar

The Telegraph included UBC psychology research about the allure of ‘bad boys’ for a story on how men can make a good impression with women.

UBC’s Alex Beall, the study’s lead author said the survey measured “gut reactions on carnal, sexual attraction.”

Researchers found that women were least attracted to smiling happy men, and most attracted to men who looked proud and powerful, or moody and ashamed.

The story also appeared on MSN.
