CBC News reported on a carpooling app developed by UBC graduates.
Spare Rides, which has similarities to the popular app Uber, launched in February with the goal of helping drivers along the busy Broadway corridor.
“Uber is revolutionizing the taxi industry, we’re revolutionizing the carpooling industry and the commuting … industry,” said Spare Rides CEO and co-founder Kristoffer Vik Hansen.
