Hasan Cavusoglu, associate professor of the management information systems division of the UBC Sauder School of Business, offers insight and advice for living in our increasingly wired world, where objects such as phones, vehicles and buildings have Internet connectivity.
Cavusoglu says this interconnected network of objects — called The Internet of Things — is the next hunting ground for hackers, who now have the ability to interfere with everything from cars to home security systems.
