Roundhouse Radio featured a UBC study that focused on Paul’s Club, a Vancouver social club for people with early-onset dementia.
More programs for those with early-onset dementia are needed, according to nursing professor Alison Phinney.
“There’s not many day programs for people with dementia, there’s certainly not enough,” said Phinney. “There is nothing that meets the needs for this particular population.”
