Modern Farmer and East Oregonian highlighted a new UBC study that shows “ag-gag” laws reduce people’s trust in farmers.
Ag-gag laws are farm protection laws that prohibit the use of hidden cameras to document conditions at agricultural facilities. The study was led by UBC PhD candidate Jesse Robbins and involved 716 U.S. adults who were aware of ag-gag legislation.
