A UBC study shows that, contrary to popular belief, advance care planning and end-of-life discussions with cancer patients are empowering, reports Castanet.
The study, led by UBC Okanagan nursing researcher Carole Robinson, involved nine oncologists throughout B.C. who were asked to have “goals of care” discussions with their patients and report the results.
