UBC announces members of panel to develop sexual assault policy

UBC has announced the members of a panel that will develop a standalone sexual assault policy for the school, reports the Canadian Press. The 12-member committee will include students, staff and faculty from UBC’s Okanagan and Vancouver campuses.

The announcement comes in the wake of complaints that the school failed to respond in a timely fashion to sexual assault complaints.
