UBC Interim President Martha Piper was named by the Georgia Straight one of the 10 most influential female educational administrators in Metro Vancouver. The article noted Piper’s contributions to promoting the school’s international reputation as a research university.
The Straight also named Louise Cowin, UBC’s vice president, students, for her role in overseeing student housing and hospitality services, athletics and student development.
