CBC News highlighted questions being raised about an expert witness at a major B.C. child abuse case.
Commenting on the case, UBC law professor Emma Cunliffe said “expert witnesses” should be better screened.
“The problem is there is no single person who is charged with monitoring the claims being made by experts in Canadian courtrooms,” said Cunliffe.
