Generic drug prices remain high but are dropping

iPolitics highlighted a Patented Medicine Prices Review Board report, which found that domestic prices for generic drugs dropped significantly from 2010 to 2014, but prices in other countries are still lower.

The article quoted UBC health policy professor Steve Morgan, who said: “This report strikes me to mean that Canada has a fundamental problem with price of generic drugs that we pay relative to comparable nations.”
