George Hoberg, a professor of forest resources management at UBC, and three colleagues from Simon Fraser University and University of Victoria lamented Canadian universities’ failure to divest from fossil fuels. In an op-ed in the National Observer, the academics called on the universities to take a stand on divestment to retain their claim to moral leadership.
