A new report from the Business Council of B.C. urged Vancouver to attract more big businesses, according to a CBC News story.
However, UBC urban studies professor Tom Hutton believes Vancouver can’t compete with established business centres like London and New York, which have better infrastructure. Vancouver is better off encouraging innovation and startups instead, said Hutton.
