Three UBC professors from the Sauder School of Business respond to a National Post article about Vancouver housing affordability, in a letter to the editor.
The professors disagreed with the article’s author over whether Vancouver faces a housing crisis. The academics say the city does, writing: “Our premier, area mayors and local residents all identify affordability as a critical issue facing the region.”
The professors proposed a property levy on absentee homeowners.
