Ocean Networks Canada, a non-profit that operates an offshore earthquake sensor array west of Vancouver Island, told News 1130 that it needs more funding to realise the system’s full potential.
The goal is to share information from sensors operated by federal and provincial authorities, along with early warning systems being developed by UBC, said the non-profit.
