MOA unveils exhibition of Portuguese popular art

The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC is presenting part of the largest collection of Portuguese folk art in North America in a new exhibition. Heaven, Hell & Somewhere In Between: Portuguese Popular Art runs May 12 – October 12. The North American premiere of this exhibition will include 300 Portuguese folk artworks – a mix of urban graffiti and mural paintings combined with popular rural puppets, figurines, carnival masks, ceramics, and more.
