UBC professors speak at the BIL Conference

UBC professors will speak at the BIL Conference this weekend in Vancouver. The yearly gathering brings together technologists, scientists, artists, hackers and those with a passion for community awareness, social entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Mandy Len Catron (English), Carrie Ichikawa Jenkins (Philosophy) and Marina Adshade (Economics) will be presenting “Love Faculty: Three Perspectives on Modern Love.” Alfred Hermida (Journalism) will give a talk titled “Why nobody sees what you tweet and how to do something about it.”
