Margolese lecture on Jan. 19

The School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) presents the 2014 SALA Margolese Design for Living Prize Lecture on Jan. 19 at UBC Robson Square.

The award, valued at $50,000, recognizes a Canadian who has made outstanding contributions to the development or improvement of living environments for Canadians of all economic classes. This year’s winner, McGill architecture professor Vikram Bhatt, is recognized for his decades-long work on minimum cost housing and more recently his work on urban agriculture.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
