School of Nursing hosts nursing history symposium

The School of Nursing is hosting its annual Nursing History Symposium featuring guest speakers Linda Quiney and Mona Gleason.

The symposium is part of the school’s Consortium for Nursing History Inquiry led by nursing professor Geertje Boschma with the patronage of Helen Shore (BSN ’61, MA’ 71).

Quiney’s research looks at the role of military nurses during and after the first World War. Gleason specializes in the history of children and youth and the history of education. Read more about Quiney and Gleason’s research here.
