Applied Science Turkey 2K Trot brings in $9,000 for United Way

Engineering student David Slade won the second annual Applied Science Turkey 2K Trot and raised $1,202.48 for the United Way of the Lower Mainland. His donation was matched by UBC President Arvind Gupta and Applied Science Dean Marc Parlange.

The Turkey 2K Trot raised $9,000 for the United Way and brought together 200 students, faculty and staff from across UBC, more than tripling donations and participation from 2013. Click here for more information.
