Create Writing members nominated for Writers’ Trust Awards

Members from the UBC Creative Writing Program have been nominated for the Writers’ Trust Awards.

For the Rogers Writer’s Trust Fiction Prize, Acting Chair of Creative Writing Steven Galloway is nominated for The Confabulist and alumna K.D. Miller is nominated for All Saints. For the Writer’s Trust Journey Prize, alumna Lori McNulty has been nominated for “Monsoon Season” and alumna Clea Young has been nominated for “Juvenile.”

The Writers’ Trust of Canada was founded by five Canadian authors — Margaret Atwood, Pierre Berton, Graeme Gibson, Margaret Laurence, and David Young — to encourage a flourishing writing community in Canada.  Click here for more information about the announcement and the awards.
