Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies announces the appointment of Theresa Rogers to the position of Associate Dean, Faculty and Program Development, effective September 1, 2014.
Rogers’s role will focus on promoting and developing opportunities for UBC graduate programs and faculty to achieve excellence in research supervision and graduate education oversight.
A professor in the Faculty of Education’s Department of Language and Literacy Education for more than 14 years, Rogers has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has served as graduate advisor, deputy head, and acting head of the department, as well as on the graduate councils of the faculty and the university. Read the full story here.
