Seven University of British Columbia faculty members have been inducted into the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). Five professors have been elected Fellows of the Royal Society, the highest honour a scholar can achieve in the arts, humanities and sciences in Canada. Another two have been admitted to RSC’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. The new RSC Fellows from UBC are:

UBC’s new RSC Fellows are among 90 elected by their peers for this year’s induction. UBC’s new RSC scholars are among 91 inducted this year.
