B.C. exporting solar innovation

The use of solar energy in B.C. remains minimal because hydro power is already dominant, while also being cheap and clean, says Martin Ordonez, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at UBC.

He says companies in B.C. are working with solar energy by creating “technology innovation that’s not used here, but exported to other countries.”
