Arctic Adaptations receives Special Mention at 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale

Arctic Adaptations, an exhibition that depicts a sustainable future for the Arctic through a series of architectural models and animations, received a Special Mention at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia. Housed in the Canadian Pavillion in Venice’s Giardini di Castello, the display is composed of three projects that represent Nunavut’s 100-year past, the present, and a possible 15-year future. As part of the NU Health Arctic Adaptations design team, UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) was represented by two SALA students, Geoff Cox and Neil Aspinall.
