China’s most prominent economist and University of British Columbia 2014 honorary degree recipient Justin Yifu Lin is a provocative thinker on successful economic development and on his own country’s remarkable path to economic superpower. The widely published author and former World Bank Chief Economist has pushed the frontiers of global thinking on economic development and the role of government. He has repeatedly been proven right in his predictions on China’s economy and is one of his government’s most trusted economic policy analysts.
