New research on cancer patients’ decision making on complementary and alternative medicine

A new study, co-authored by associate professor of nursing Lynda Balneaves, and published in the journal Open Medicine, looks at how cancer patients make decisions about the use of complementary and alternative medicine in cancer care.  Researchers found that cancer patients go through distinct phases when making decisions around complementary and alternate medicine use, and that it is a non-linear, complex, dynamic process.  For more information, click here.
