UBC School of Nursing is welcoming the 10th Annual Conference of the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) to Vancouver on Oct. 20-22. The mission of the SIO is to advance evidence-based, comprehensive, integrative healthcare to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Lynda Balneaves, associate professor in the UBC School of Nursing, is co-chair of the conference and principal investigator of the Complementary Medicine Education and Outcomes Program.
