UBC journalism students and faculty have received six nominations in the Canadian Online Publishing Awards. The school’s International Reporting Program received three nominations and its new interdisciplinary social media course, offered in conjunction with the Sauder School of Business, also received a nod. The other two finalists recognize work produced by first-year students on TheThunderbird.ca.
This year marks a record number of nominations for the school – it received five nominations in 2012 and five in 2011. For more information, click here.
