The Creating Connections conference at UBC on May 10-11 kicks off with a free keynote panel discussion titled “The Role of Gender in Science Communication,” moderated by Jennifer Gardy, senior scientist at B.C. Centre for Disease Control and recurring guest host for the Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel.
The conference brings together over 300 people from across B.C. and the Yukon to encourage a dialogue about the value of diversity and gender diversity to companies and organizations.
