UBC Nursing Professor and CIHR Scientific Director of the Institute for Gender and Health, Joy Johnson, was honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. The commemorative medal marks the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne and honours the contributions and achievements by over 60,000 Canadians.
