UBC Applied Science awards Margolese National Design for Living Prize

Professor Eric Miller of the University of Toronto was chosen as the inaugural recipient of the Margolese National Design for Living Prize. The award, made possible by a gift to UBC from the estate of Leonard Herbert Margolese, has a monetary value of $50,000. It recognizes a Canadian who has made outstanding contributions to the development or improvement of living environments for Canadians of all economic classes and will continue to demonstrate excellence in their field.
