UBC’s Sauder School of Business will announce a financial contribution from a local corporate donor that will help B.C.’s social entrepreneurs succeed in solving social and environmental problems using creative business models.
Social entrepreneurship is an emerging area that tackles pressing societal challenges through innovative business activities. This investment represents a boost to the sector in B.C. and will help establish the province as a social innovation leader.
At the announcement event, prospective B.C. social venture leaders and the following spokespeople will be available for interviews:
