Panel examines housing affordability in Vancouver

Campus and Community Planning presents a panel discussion on May 26 as part of Alumni Weekend to discuss housing affordability in Vancouver and what strategies can be adopted to help address this issue.

The panel will examine UBC’s Housing Action Plan and present some of the academic research being conducted at UBC on this topic. A municipal expert will talk about why housing is an issue in Vancouver and what cities can do to help find solutions for this growing problem.

The panel consists of Asst. Prof. Tom Davidoff, Sauder School of Business; Kera McArthur, Director of Public Engagement, UBC Campus and Community Planning; and Tim Wake, CEO, Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver.
