UBC hosts pulp and paper students from the flooded Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand

The worst flooding Thailand has experienced in years began in August and reached the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in October. With their campus recovering from being flooded with two metres of water, the UBC’s Pulp and Paper Centre has made it possible for a group of AIT students to complete their masters studies at UBC.

The students arrive March 1 and are expected to graduate in September.
