The Encyclopedia of Fish Physiology, edited by UBC zoology professors Anthony Farrell and Jeff Richards was honoured at the 2011 American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (the PROSE Awards). The publication won in the category of Multivolume Reference/Science.
