Asst. Prof. Andrew Warfield from the Dept. of Computer Science together with graduate students Shriram Rajagopalan and Brendan Cully won best paper award at the Very Large Database (VLDB) 2011 Conference for their paper titled “RemusDB: Transparent High Availability for Database Systems”.
