Master of Science student wins second place in national poster competition

Jamie Daw, a Master of Science student at the School of Population and Public Health, won second place and an $800 prize in the student poster competition at the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research’s (CAHSPR) conference in Toronto in May.

Daw received the award for her poster, The adequacy of prenatal care utilization: distribution and predictors of inadequate care in British Columbia.

The annual competition recognizes the outstanding research efforts of up-and-coming health services and policy researchers.
