Two UBC teams place in New Ventures World Competition

Two UBC entrepreneur teams comprised of engineering and commerce students placed in the New Ventures World Competition held in Lincoln, Nebraska, April 9-10. Omniwrite received third place and a $1,000 prize; Aegis received Honourable Mention and a $500 prize. Two additional teams—H2knOw and Aeos Biomedical—competed in the international competition. All teams were developed through partnerships formed in the Applied Science 486/New Venture Design course.
