UBC Chemical and Biological Engineering Asst. Prof. Eric Lagally has been awarded a 2010 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Mentorship Award, for excellence in mentoring undergraduate students in research at UBC. Lagally was nominated by UBC’s 2009 iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machines) team for his leadership and support of students in their efforts to compete in the iGEM Competition hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
