UBC researcher wins best paper

PhD candidate Michael J. Sheriff has won a British Ecological Society (BES) Elton prize for his paper The sensitive hare: sub lethal effects of predator stress on reproduction in snowshoe hares.

The BES awards an annual prize of £250 for the best paper by a young author in each of the Society’s journals.
