Mechanical engineer elected Fellow American Society of Mechanical Engineering

BC Mechanical Engineering Prof. Elizabeth Croft has been elected Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering in recognition of her achievements and contributions to engineering.

Croft is devoted to supporting, promoting and increasing the participation and retention of women in engineering. An expert in robotics and industrial automation, her work enables robots to work productively and safely in human environments—from factories and hospitals to homes. As a teacher, she has developed visionary and award-winning educational programs, as well as innovative, extra-curricular programs to support her students’ professional development.
