UBC student wins Biophysical Society’s Student Travel Award

UBC science student Qing Peng, has received one of The Biophysical Society’s 2010 Student Travel Award for his paper Direct Observation of the Tug-of-War during the Folding of a Mutually Exclusive Protein

Peng receives a travel grant and will be recognized at the Biophysical Society’s 54th Annual Meeting in San Francisco on Feb. 20-24.  This event is the world’s largest meeting of biophysicists with more than  6,000 attending  and more than 4,000 scientific abstracts  submitted.
