The University of British Columbia will release the Olympic Games Impact Study (OGI): Pre-Games Report on Friday, Dec. 4. It is the first comprehensive report of its kind to look at the impact of the 2010 Games on the host city of Vancouver and nearby host venues.

This pre-Games OGI report is the second of four mandated by the International Olympic Committee for the 2010 Winter Games. The purpose of OGI is to measure the impact of Olympic and Paralympic Games over time through a consistent and comparable reporting system.
